I've owned three: two V10s and one 6.0L turbo-diesel. The V10s are essentially bullet proof if you maintain them correctly. The 6.0L needs some preventative work to ensure it doesn't puke engine coolant and leave you stranded. If you've got a 6.0, get it bulletproofed ASAP. Because she will fail you at the worst time.
